New PIN-codes for an ID-card, residence permit card or digital ID-card with valid certificates can only be issued at the Embassy during a booked appointment.

NB! At the Embassy, new PIN codes can only be obtained for ID cards issued before November 17, 2025. If you need new PIN-codes, please first check the validity of your document.

When coming to the Embassy please take your ID-card, residence permit card or e-residence ID-card with you, also your valid passport or EU national ID for identification purposes.

Please also note that there is a state fee to be paid for this service.
