Yesterday, 2 October, President of the Republic Alar Karis and his wife, Sirje Karis, paid a farewell visit to Sweden, where they met with King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
“Estonia and Sweden are bound by a long shared history and a friendship that has grown ever stronger over time. Many thanks to King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia for the meaningful conversations and for the many memorable and beautiful moments we have shared,” said President Karis.
For us at the Embassy of Estonia in Stockholm, it was a great pleasure and honour to contribute to the success of the President and Mrs Karis’s final foreign visit during his term in office.
